usually runs on dual tank... diesel and veggie oil.. switch over when its hot and when you are switching it off..

will this work in any diesel car?? i have a kia cerato
#17
I ran a Xantia for a year on veggie oil, as the weather got colder I had to split it with diesel, up to the winter where I went back to using diesel only. The car only cost me £200, I bought it specifically to test if it would run.

diesel is only 99p i would have to be halfing my costs AT least to start mucking about with jerry cans and possible engine damage
#24
Oil really works on older Audi's, VW's and similar cars otherwise you risk damaging you fuel pump and injectors which will probably cost you nearly a grand to fix!

GUYS, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING BEFORE YOU ADD THINGS TO YOUR FUEL TANK!

I managed to get some yesterday in blackburn. Thanks
#26
I've been using it for two years in my Saab and four years before than in my Citroen XM by mixing it with diesel or anything that is not as viscous and burns.;-)

Hi i use KTC oil from Bookers Cash and Carry in 20 litre boxes £13.99 it is not rape oil but GM modified soya oil. I have been using it for 18 months in my Toyota Surf I have the twin tank system so run on diesel until hot then auto change over. It is thicker that rape oil and goes semi solid when down to freezing.
