I have just bought a 5m cable but really needed a 7m, anyway.... point is, Amazon sellers have 10m cables for £7.50ish (the same style as the 5m one I bought which works perfectly).

Excellent cables from Kenable, but check their ebay site first:
kenable_ltd
Sometimes the ebay site is cheaper as the postage is free. This is currently £9.95 inc delivery

I've bought from Kenable , good people to deal with .

voted hot, but don't you lose quality with this length of hdmi, that's what I was told anyway.

10m seems very long. About 34ft, I know that the cables may have to run in straight lines but do you really need a cable this long?

No its digital it will either work and give excellent picture quality or it will pixellate and become un-viewable or even disappear. If you get a picture it is always good.

I have heard that there is no problem with this length of HDMI cable

I use a 20m cheap job I got from screwfix (labgear) for about £25
works fine, no sparklies or hassles at all running 1080p files from my popcorn hour.
If this cable works at all then it will work perfectly.

Far too much cable BS kicking around.

Happy to say I'm a short bus ride and walk away, so I go and collect - they do have some great prices and moreso when I found that they were one company with a 'collect in person' option I could actually make use of

No they don't. You've been told a porky. There will only be a problem if the cable is kinked severely - and that's unlikely.

This isn't such a great price. You can get 10m ones thru Amazon for £7.74.

Or if the lack of info on that one scares you, can pay £10.97 if you like.
