Sorry, I can't resist it.... surely I should spend a lot more on an HDMI cable that this?

If anyone comments on how they are gold plated and therefore better, I'm going to scream.

Still, not as good a deal as this

10m cables really are a hot and a miss. Tried 5 before I got one that worked right at 1080p60 on my PJ

These are good for expensive tv's but cheaper tvs tend to have problems recieving signal from the device, so be aware before jumping into buy 20 lol

Any cable over 5m and you need to step up the quality and spend a bit more. People will moan and say that the cheap does the job, but when you get a cable of this length it pays to buy a better one. I have one for my projector (10m - cheap) and it struggles to give a clear 1080p signal. As soon as I tried a better cable it worked perfectly.

EDIT: Voted down the middle on this one, good price, but won't do a fantastic job.

So report it to the Mods... I have, if more do, then we might get rid of some of this crap from the site!

It's NOT the cheapest option, and hasn't got nearly high enough reputation, so why are people voting it hot, its not is stone cold! :-(

I brought 2 of these 1 didnt work and the other was fine but wouldnt do 1080p. Im awaiting my replacement. If your not after 1080p and dont mind the wait for a replacement if the first doesnt work then go for it.

Might be a silly question but how can you tell if you get 1080p through these?

In my case, my Onkyo ( drum roll ...) AV-AMP Tells me what is being output - 1080i50, 1080p24, 1080p50 or 1080p60

If the cable is poor quality you may get the picture but it can have sparklies, colour banding etc (VERY noticeable)

My projector tells me what it is outputting at, had to turn 1080p function off it was so bad, brought a better cable now and works fine!
