Right-o, this deal is going to be one of those "you might be lucky" type deals, but if it helps one person, then its worth posting.

So I went into Boots to look for this

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/gillette-fusion-power-10-blades-and/718968

Before it got smashed into ICY COLD OBLIVION, but I ended up coming out with a hot deal, and it was worth posting.

So the pack can be seen on this page here

http://www.boots.com/en/11-Gillette-Fusion-Manual-Blades-and-Gillette-Energizing-Moisturiser-Pack_1107000/?CAWELAID=513804554&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engines-_-Google%20Base-_---_-11%20Gillette%20Fusion%20Manual%20Blades%20and%20Gillette%20Energizing%20Moisturiser%20Pack

I didn't actually know exactly what I was going into Boots to buy, but thankfully I found a member of staff bringing a huge Gillette Fusion POS stand out and asked for her help.

I explained that something was £20, then a tenner, but it comes up on the system as a fiver.

She took one of these packs of the shelf and scanned it as FIVE POUNDS.

There were 3 left, so I took 2 and told her to buy the last one (to which she said husband actually uses them) so it really is going to be first come first served.

These were not priced up as anything other than the "£20 - Save over £11" flashed on the pack, so it has to be worth a shot if you are instore.

For any of the doubters, I can scan my receipt tomorrow.

I also got her to scan the England Fusion Razor which came out as £3.50, so I actually ended up buying a normal one on special for £3.

In total, 23 blades and a razor for £13.

Do you have the barcode number off the pack?

I also posted this in the other thread.

Been into 2 boots in newcastle city centre.
Got them to scan the one with the moisturiser and the power one with the blades.
Both £20.

Can someone post the barcodes please?
Seems like if this offer is available it's only certain packs, or stores.

But it seems like people have been into the same stores which people claim to have bought £5 ones from, and they are scanning at £20.

Not voting either way.

When I get home I can get you the barcode

could be a marketing trick from boots here. to get us into the shop...

Has anyone noticed the Boots own brand. Same colour packaging and as far as I can see identical. Could not check if the blades are compatable . At this deal price they are dearer. Could it be that Gillette will have to meet the competitions prices. If so about time

I would love to know why a national company are charging different prices for the same thing .....
or is it possible so many people are winding everyone else up?

A few other than me, but not sure why its not nationwide, as it simply came up on the system on a price check.

You know, I saw them and never thought to ask to scan them - for the Castlepoint shopper, Boots Boscombe had at least 7 of these on the shelf....

You should probably make a fresh post about it.
