First post from long time lurker. I have been searching for ages for a decent carry case for an MSI 10in Netbook and finally found one that is not only cheap but actually one of nicest I have come across in Maplin.

The build quiality is very nice, the compartment for laptop is perfect size and there are plenty of pockets for accessories and cables.

I hope you don't mind but I've linked this deal into the current Tesco Acer Aspire One netbook deal thread, as members were asking about cases for their netbooks.

Edit: Heat from me!

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Can you fit the charger into this case?

I was looking at this today, it's quite bulky IMO though appears to be well made, think it'll take a PSU okay. Its certainly got plenty of pockets.
Also saw the same one in Currys (product 454748) for £39.99!
Think I'll hold out for a cheap Belkin NE-MS 12 Messenger though I'm struggling to find a cheap one, none left at instore near me.

looks good value:)

ideal for when u got to carry your cables and charger with you or even a portable hd:thumbsup:

Not a bad price I guess but if you had to carry this it would seem to defeat the purpose of a netbook, might as well be carrying a full laptop.

Not really, it is a small light case that you can take netbook and accessories on a trip etc. The slip cases are fine but they generally dont have a handle making them awkward to carry ( especially for me at the moment as I have a broken arm ! ) and you are still left to find some other way to take power supplies etc if you are likely to need them.

I struggled to find Belkin one too and gave up, especially when I saw this one. The prices of some of the netbook cases are ridiculous. £15 is absolutely fine, £40-50 is way over priced in my mind.

I found one in Dundee - think they're all gone now though. It's fine, but surprisingly snug even on my Acer Aspire One (8.9" model) - I also bought an ebay slip case for mine and everything is perfectly protected.

Same thing in Currys is £25! Pretty big though - kind of defeats the purpose of a netbook in my view.

I accept that you might want to make more stuff with you but imo if you are going to carry this around then you might as well have bought a full laptop in the first place. CDs? Netbooks don't even have optical drives.

Tkmaxx do a nice slip case, with front pocket (it fits charger in) for 11" netbooks. rrp £14.99 but priced £4.99. Its a lovely fit for LG X110 (which is an msi wind) Great quality, neophrane blah blah
