Supermarkets losing money? Not very likely. They may seem cheap, but you don't get owt for nowt. we have all paid for them when we pay our gas and electricity bills.

Letter from the energy companies to the current government.
Please Please Please we know we are making obcene profits and your talks of hitting us with a windfall tax because our profits are up by 75% during this season of the credit crunch crisis are in our opinion unfair...........continued..........look how generous we all are.........everybody gets two bulbs free and we are giving tens of thousands to retailers free to sell at any price they like and keep all the profit...............so please think again about this windfall tax.....................oh sorry.........i see you have............the cheque is in the post...............lets call it a labour party donation.........just keep that b****** mandelsons greedy mitts off it.......................
