Well done, you win this thread's "first person in a thread to sneer in a snobby way" prize.
You win a curled lip and a permanent supercillious attitude that makes people despise you, but you don't know because no-one likes you enough to tell you.

Wow, and I guess your aiming for the 'No sense of humour' award? :w00t:

You can have this funny bone, I seem to have two.

I bought one of these in the Argos sale nearly 4 years ago.
It is still in my spare room,I took it out of the box and have never been brave enough to put it together.

I just took one identical to this to the tip, it was bought in 1975 (passed down from my parents) and the only difference was an oval mirror.

Did I chuck it just as it got back into fashion?

Must be pretty dodgy quality, they couldn't even get the doors straight for the catalogue picture!

Agree with the above poster as well, it looks really bad quality...

    Terrible.

Bought on of these in beech from argos 10 years ago, which shows how dated they are!

Here's my list of pros and cons:

    Pro's:
    It's cheap

    Cons:
It feels cheaper. Looks big in the pic but isn't when put together.
The mirror in the middle is useless. The drawers are in the way so no good as a make up area as you cant sit close enough and too low to use as a normal mirror .
It's made from very thin and not very well compressed laminated chipboard. If you try and tighten screws up tight then they just rip into the chipboard and spin. So you can never tighten the whole thing well enough to stop it from swaying around from side to side slightly.
Once you've put it up, don't think you'll ever be able to move it from where you first put it. If you try when it's put togetehr, it will just rip it's own screws out and either wobble alot or just collapse. And don't think about taking it apart and moving it as when you put it back together it will just do the same.
The doors and drawers will sag very quickly until no amount of adjustment will stop them from rubbing against each other or not closing at all.:x

For this money, if it's your first place you're moving into and you just need storage and are on a really tight budget then there's no shame in buying one, but i'd either try ikeas budget wardrobes first or even surf Ebay for quality second hande ones that will last.
