People have been happily feeding the birds for thousands of years. Why would anyone for the sake of saving £4 not feed them? ;)

Until their habitat was trashed by agrichemicals, sterile planting in public spaces, concrete gardens etc etc etc. Now they need all the help they can get.

Gave this a go during the summer. 70% of it is crap that even the pigeons won't eat, and when it rained it turned into a horrible sludge that had to be washed away with the hose...

I sometimes take my bird out and spend almost £4 on her at a Berni Inn. Prawn cocktail, something we think is meat and Arctic Roll. Oh wait, this isn't a documentary I saw about 1973, it was just a dream! Nowdays we can get 9 bits of chicken for £5.99 and eat it in our jammies! She can watch Corrie while I watch Reno 911! on my phone - romance never dies! Wohooo! 21st Centuryyyyy rocks!

Not experienced that problem myself, tbh. Birds seem quite content & clear it up, no problem. Been using this a year or so & gone through a few bags of the stuff. I mix it with other seed, nuts, dried mealworm etc to make it less junky. There's a fair bit of power residue in it, so maybe that's what's clogging up. I grab a handful & throw it up in the air onto the back garden and that powered stuff blows away with the wind. Might want to try sieving it, see if that helps. Our garden birds go mad for it, including the pigeons, which are fattening up a bit tbh. Probably this stuff is junk food for them so I use it sparingly to supplement rather than them relying on it.

Bird seeds? Finally, I can grow my own bird!
