This happened in tesco at Christmas too - my lovely checkout lady insisted we take all our 24 and 12 packs back and get loads of six packs - saved us over £6 though!!

She said "they are soooo nasty doing that to people at Christmas!" :giggle:

She made the enquiry lady take them off on the till.

Then she found that if I bought two bags of 24 assorted crisps I would get two for one plus an extra 40p off and she made me go and change my bag of ready salted for another assorted (even though I tried to tell her my family like lots of ready salted  ) but it was easier to do as she said as she was quite forcefull! The poor enquiry lady then had to come and change the till again and my checkout sweetie said "Hrrmph that's what she gets paid for" :santa:

Works out at close to £1 for 2 litres...and you don't have the problem with it going flat like the 2 litre bottles.
