Seems a bit expensive just for a blob of sugar.. I guess there's the convenience of the form.

Google it and you will find it

Avoid berry they are disgusting, I'm not sure any flavour is great only tried two,
The energy bars blueberry and choc fudge are great

Think. I'll stick to high5 gels as they taste far better, but their energy bar isn't great
#18
Warmish deal, I took advantage of this last time and got 6 gels that were absolutely horrid (I think pineapple?) and the other ones which were OK were blackcurrant but were due to expire within a month.
#19
Where do you get the code?
#20
Any having luck? Googling and not finding it

They are not made to provide nutrition, you don't consume them for nutrients. They are made to provide a top up to energy stores, not as a meal replacement. Obviously they do work or pro cycling teams wouldn't bother using them.

Please explain why they have no benefits to ANYBODY. Go back and sit on your couch.

Finally got round to taking up the offer. Code came through with the email this morning. They are also offering 50% a bundle of four hydration tubes.

So all in I got 12 gels, 80 hydration tabs all for £13.99 inc delivery! I'd give you heat again for this find if I could.

If your're a runner, cyclist or anyone into high intensity cardio this is a good find.

Hey Farmer Giles sportive "athletes", tuck your arms and knees in and get lower into the drops. Then you'll arrive before the point at which you think you need some food and can avoid having to pay even £3.99 extra...

If even 1% of the people I see out were to actually benefit from these, I'd be utterly amazed. Top amateurs, pros, for sure - but generally, a decent meal beforehand will see you through your ride! Save your bloody cash and stop complicating everything. Just ride.

I took advantage of a previous "bargain" and wish I hadn't. All "flavours" are f horrible. I'm sticking to oat bars, choc bics and bananas from now on.
#26
Never used them for cycling but I have on the 100 mile ultras a couple of times but still can't make my mind up if there any good or not. Not a bad deal I guess if they work for you

I need to replenish my energy when doing a long ride of 100 mls; personally I don't like the gels but use energy bars / biscuits etc. If you do ultra marathons etc then maybe yes you don't need to eat for long rides - good for you but you will be the very small minority..

I've now had 3 of these, all horrible the high5 gels taste far better, but agree flapjack or the like seem to work well,
