Has anyone got the link for those who don't have a Facebook account?

#3
Thanks for the link Mrs.Z, I only have limited aqccess to the internet at work!!

Just to clarify then, you don't need to have Facebook for this, the link above is all you need.
#4
Fab - thanks! It's £11 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers so makes this brilliant value & a great gift idea too.
#5
Good price for a brilliant magazine. Been a subscriber for 2 years, just makes you realise how little you know about our planet.

Does this offer give you the cheap fleece jacket as well? The jacket is probably useful to for doing a bit of gardening in the cold :).

You don't get the fleece EDEN188, but from past experience you aren't missing much. Very poorly made and even the largest size wouldn't fit a midget!
#7
Does anybody know how easy it is to cancel the subscription after 12 months and how much the magazine is without the offer?
#8
The subscription automatically cancels after your 12 issues. Not sure how much it costs to buy in shops, about £4 - £5 per issue from memory, I think.
#9
i had a flyer through to renew for £19 i think it was.

looking at the link, it doesnt suggest it is actually the nat geographic website i personally dont trust giving my credit card details out on that.
#11
Ordered - Thanks :)

Ordered, great product
#13
cracking deal!
#14
Done, keep sending me notices about renewing but quoting a higher price than it is on their website!

(By the way if you try and renew through the national geographic website it takes you through the same buysub address: https://w1.buysub.com/pubs/NG/NGM/UKpage.jsp?cds_page_id=37881&cds_mag_code=NGM&id=1302179657276&lsid=10970724542016736&vid=3&cds_misc_5=UKSUBSPAGE9)

Ordered. Thanks!
#16
That is a sensational price for a quality publication. I thought 12 issues for £15 was good!
#17
Also ordered, many thanks.
#18
don't suppose you've seen a similar offer for the kids national geographic magazine have you?
#19
If I wasn't already a subscriber, I'd be taking up this deal.

Hot.

I'm going to be moving in a few months, does anyone know if it possible or how easy it is to have the issues sent to a different address mid-subscription?

Thanks
#23
Hmm I'm sure its not but it just seems a bit dodgy. You put in all details on one screen, there is no confirmation of the price before you click submit, and this is the first time I have every used my bank card online and it hasn't gone through the santander password check stage. Also, haven't recieved a confirmation email and it's been a few minutes. Any thoughts?
#24
Is this just a one off payment?

Anyone had a confirmation email yet? Is it legit?

I've ordered through these people before (the £15 offer, have a search around here for it). They don't give you any confirmation or anything, and it does take like 3 months before you'll get the first issue. But they can be trusted.

3 months? hhmmm. I'm going abroad in Jan so I'd only get about half the issues. I'll leave it this time. Thanks anyway. Heat added.

Thanks for the post.

I'd like to purchase this for my Father but there doesn't seem to be an alternative address for a gift subscription. Is that possible after the initial page is filled in?

That Afghani girl on the cover ought to be getting royalties, they bung her picture up every time they want to plug NG magazine.

Forget National Geographic. Does anyone know of any cheap subscriptions to Razzle ?

I can certainly confirm this. If the fleece was half as good as the magazine we'd all think we were in heaven. oO

Sorry, I nearly forgot - a big thank you to the OP. :D

Agree. I think address, site and payment details all look dodgy (also if you click on the "privacy policy" link you get a Page Not Found). On the official National Geographic site offer is 12 for £19.

There is a yellow box on the right hand side of the initial form filling page which says "Gift Orders International Gift Recipients"
If you click this you are taken to a page where you fill in your info and the info of who you wish to send the gift subscription to.
Hope this helps 8)

(that link to buysub is from clicking "subscriptions" at the top right corner of the nat geo site, so it must be legit! Surely for such learned people they would realise if they would just pay a web designer it would make them money in the long run from all the "almost" sales :{)
