good deal if you really need it choc

didnt realise they still did this with all the free mags you get with newspapers you would assume they would stop printing - goes to show:-D

crazy huh holly

this must be a loss for them if people just cancel and then keep doing the 12 issues deals

unless they get people who forget to unsubscribe......I got it a couple of times but never found the time to read them

That is probably why they are having to give it away at 12 issues for a £1.

Sorry, what makes you suggest you can cancel after the first issue?
From their terms:

11. Agree to a minimum term of 12 months for all Direct Debit orders.

12. Agree that you may cancel any subscription within 48 hours of purchase to receive a full refund from iSUBSCRiBE....
http://www.isubscribe.co.uk/terms.cfm
This appears you are agreeing to a contract that will cost over £40 for the term.
(or you can cancel within 48hours for a full refund and receive nothing)

Where does it say that?

You are signing up for:

12 issues for £1.00 then £19.99 every 6 months

By Direct Debit

Are you sure it was this exact deal with these terms & conditions?

I've had 12 copies for a quid previously through an MSE promotion with the ability to cancel - but that wasn't the same as this deal.
The terms here clearly say:

11. Agree to a minimum term of 12 months for all Direct Debit orders.

This is a Direct Debit order
