  wary of buying these online now , just got burnt by first electronic online , paid for xbox live code online via paypal £26 , never received it or any comms from the company , lodged a claim which paypal refused to pay because the items are "intangible" . Buying again from amazon for £30 now ....... you have no comeback if you have an issue with code or getting it

  If you have Live Gold already and its almost (2-3 months before) end of your subscription (and you have auto renewal ON) just phone MS and ask them to turn the auto renewal OFF for you because you cant afford it and they will offer you a 40% off deal (£23.99) on 12 months gold membership. Works every year... ;]
  PS: you can also get 20% of Family Gold if that would work better for you

  Yes does stack. I bought one just over a month ago from ebay, different seller to this and all was fine. I was very wary though, I can see how easy it would be to get burned with no recourse.

  That's nonsense, ebay or paypal WILL cover such loss so stop scare mongering.
  If nothing else, because the company are required to send you the code by post which they clearly didn't.
  read the buyer protection info.

  Bought this at 4.30pm and it was emailed to me at 4.34pm. Added using Xbox.com redeem code and all is well.
  Very useful seeing as mine runs out tomorrow.
