12 Months of ESPN for the price of 8 for Sky customers £72.00

Just got an offer through the post from Sky offering me 12 months of ESPN for the price of 8. My experience of these things is that they're targeted to all customers who already have the sports package.

Even if you haven't received the offer you should be able to get it by giving them a ring.

You have to pay the £72 upfront.

normal offer advertised on tv is 9 months for the price of 12 so extra 1 month free if you can get it.

Hey how does this work? how do you get 12 months for the price of 8? how much do you pay a month if you are already a sky sports subscriber and sky hd subscriber?

That's what I did, after 8 years with them I just cancelled. Had to give them 30 days notice :-( not happy about that.

Just joined Virgin with the £165 quidco cashback, so it works out about £3-£4 a month after quidco. In 12 months time I will probably join SKY again with another quidco deal (currently £110-£120).

As for ESPN, I don't have a subscription, but I did note that the 'free' (until the end of the year anyway) Sky Sports app on my iPod Touch DOES connect to ESPN and allowed me to watch the Bolton v United game on Sunday even though flicking to the ESPN channel on SKY came up as unsubscribed.

May be worth it for anyone who wants to see any sports before Christmas...

i got the full HD + package with Sky for £24.50 for 12 months when the offer was on back in March, when 12 months are up, I will cancel unless they want to offer me the same deal for another 12 months. Ask Sky if they can offer you that deal (if you wanted to stay with Sky).
