You dont have to pay Sainsbury's to enter their store & make a purchase.

I have a Costco virtually on my doorstep - I can see it as I type, been there 2 years, yet Ive never been inside as I am not a member, and have no desire to be

correct, I dont sit at home drinking bottles of water I take one out with me everyday and it stops me paying £1.30 each for them every day.

and a note on the costco thing. you dont have to be Richard Branson to get a costco card, I work for BT and as an employee im entitled to a membership, lots of employees of companys can be members and its £12 for 2 people so £6 for a year and you make big savings like this.

I like the thought of Gollywood sitting in his house looking at costco all day vouching never to go in.

As a (cynical) former Buxton resident, I have always wondered two things...

1) How the company bottling "Buxton water" managed to pipe the natural water all the way from its source in St.Annes, across the town and into the old bus station without digging up any of the area surrounding either St.Annes or the bus station... perhaps it was a "natural miracle"??

2) How, on rare occasions when the well (that is fed from the alleged same source as the bottling plant) runs dry, they are still able to fill millions of bottles with the water, most strange!

Reminds me of one particular episode of Only Fools and Horses.

I will stick to tap water, bfn

so why comment on a Costco deal then? sounds like you're just bitter as you're not a member :p

I've been a member for several years - can highly recommend them and their Concierge service is second to none. :)

Amazing. I am not originally from his country; but when we have good quality tap water in UK why are we spending money on these. I cannot understand how this can be a deal for anyone even if they sold water for 1 p.

seriously, good tap water in the UK? Have you tried Manchester's?
