i know they wont be for everyone but for people wanting a filling snack who are trying to eat a decent amount of protein per day, this is a convenient way of getting extra protein in your diet.

i ordered yesterday morning and they turned up this morning so delivery is great.

go through quidco for 8% cash back, mine tracked within a couple hours of the order. they taste great compaired to the cpn pro flap jacks and some of the other protein bars.

it is only the chocolate/peanut one which is on offer.

Is good for bodybuilders wanting to replace carbs after or before a workout. Too many carbs as a meal replacement
But thanks for the link :D
I am on the hunt for a decent protein bar :)

FWIW, I use the High 5 protein bars (26% protein)- they taste fantastic and are great after a hard days cycling (they kept my body fresher whilst I was training in the alps).

These are a right rip off, £1 for a protein bar.

If you want additional protein intake then buy a big bag of whey from myprotein. Will keep you going for ages.

Depends on how convenient you want your protein fix to be. I will carry one with me so I can consume my protein and carbs bar within 20 mins of finishing my ride to maximise its benefit. Shakes (diy or not) are not always that convenient.

These are great for a treat and taste great!

And for those complaining about cost - chocolate bars cost 60-80p these days, not much different and nutritionally these for someone who trains is a good treat.

And there is a good mix of protein and carbs in these.

Have bought these before at the higher price of £24.99 from them. Good tasting and handy to carry about. They sell for £3.49 per bar in Holland and Barrett. BodyShapers Fitness do next day delivery by courier and send you an email in the morning telling me the hour of the day they would be delivered. No more waiting in all day!
I used one of these codes WG50 or WG250 (can't remember which) for an extra discount. Some sites say codes are expired but one of them worked for me yesterday (Tues 17/8/10).
