honestly these are rubbish.
i dont know how they got sony branding but the last ones i bought were just the same as the other Rubbish £1 batteries and some leaked in my draw.

I have used these quite a bit with no problems and long life :whistling:
Same ones recently given with the sony 37” lcd i got. Bad batch maybe you got . . .

All poundland batteries are crap, doesnt matter what brand, what the packet says, they are all rubbish for anything but TV remotes, clocks and other very small drain devices.

Agree... :)

These are standard zinc chloride batteries (not alkaline) but OK for light duty use like TV remotes etc.

+1 they dont even last long in things like a remote control.

Total rubbish dont waste a pound buy some decent ones

Very short life-span on these... I'll be lucky if all 12 Sony batteries last as long as 2 Duracel ones.

They will last about five seconds. The Sony tag and the 'heavy duty' claim mean nothing. These are a complete waste of £1
