1/3 off three very popular Whisky.
The Glenlivet is one of my all time favourites. Hence first in the title.
THE GLENLIVET 12 YEAR OLD
LIVELY GOLD. PLAYFUL INTERLACING OF FRUITY AND FLORAL AROMAS, PERFECT BALANCE.
This is one of Speysides definitive malts. Deceptively complex, The Glenlivet 12 is one of the classiest, most sophisticated malts.
Paul Pacult, Kindred Spirits
A first-class malt. One of the most popular malts in the world deservedly so.

THE GLENLIVET 12 YEAR OLD, 40%
Bright and lively gold.
Without water: Exquisite delicacy of summer-like fragrances. Playful interlacing of floral and fruity aromas. Fresh juicy Chasselas grape, ripe pear, soft apples. And a sensuous touch of exotic fruit (candied pineapple). White lilac. Honeyed blossom (acacia). It opens in time on creamier and richer notes: stewed greengages, ripe apricots, vanilla cr? anglaise, a hint of marshmallow. Oak tenderly enhances that enticing bouquet with more vanilla notes and nutty hints. An echo of toasted oats. Soft spices. Green cardamom, touch of caraway seeds.
With water: Fruity sweetness and oaky tones are brought forward. Cherry plum flan. More toasted notes. Vanilla waffle. Touch of jasmine.
RUBBED ON THE HAND
Dry hay, honey, touch of mint.
Without water: Silky feel, flowing on the tongue. Smooth and sweet fruity basket (white peaches, pears poached in a vanilla syrup, a hint of pineapple juice). Honeyed flowers. Almond biscuits.
With water: More honeyed floral notes shine through while spices are toned down. Minty maltiness.
Nutty. Marzipan. Fresh hazelnuts. Spicy. Fresh grated ginger.
Glenlivet 12 Year Old shows a perfectly balanced display of fruity and floral flavours. Oak is present but in the distance. This Classic Speyside conveys beautiful images of a fertile orchard, blossoming at springtime and laden with juicy ripe fruit at summertime. Nose and palate offer a warm experience of Speyside fresh and fragrant air. The single malt to choose for a relaxing moment, enjoyed on its own or with a fruit pudding (plum or apricot pie, Belgian waffle with stewed apples, marzipan biscuits).
