Excellent deal

Pretty good, you can usually get 2100 for not much more though.

Definitely not bad if you only want that map pack though although I would personally say that anybody willing to spend £8.49 on a bunch of maps either has too much money or needs their head examined.
#3
Brilliant, that'll keep the mrs quiet! :-D

How much does 1200 points normally retail at?

Normally about £9.99 (play have it at this price) - cheapest for 2100 is about £15 so this is a good price

You mean 2100 retails at that, yeah? This deal works about about 70p per 100 points which is a fair price as you don't usually get them much cheaper than 67p per 100 unless you did the Littlewoods trick.

Just got the 2100 delivered yesterday from the Tesco Entertainment deal posted by Andywedge, £14.74. This seems a pretty good price for 1200 though.

What's the best deal on 2100 points at the minute then?

Would buying 2 of these be any cheaper? :p

£14.20 from tesco entertainment for 2100pts using the discount code, which works out at around 67p per point.

2 of these would work out at just over 70p a point, so not really.

They are just terrible. No wonder, they were probably rushed, and made by the B-team considering the A-team of Infinity Ward have now all left and are suing Activision.

I agree mate , 2 of the maps are just existing ones from CoD4 . Im done with the series now , same as the developers . I will never give another penny to Activision . Played MW2 for 1 week until the day BFBF2 Beta (arica harbour) was released and have never returned to it .
I have kept a hold of it to use as a trade in for when the right game appears because it holds its value very well as all the casual gamers love it . The day to say farewell to it is almost nigh as I think I will give it to Blockbusters plus £15 for Red Dead Redemption .

Totally mate. It's not even like Activision are *******s with an awesome game. MW2 just isn't that good. Activision are *******s with a pretty sub-par game. It's bascially COD4 (which is like 5 years old now) with new weapons and killstreaks. The games boring, and nobody plays with any teamwork. I won't be buying the next one.

Activision are turning into the EA of old, dumping original IPs in favour of quick turnaround franchise updates.

You just have to look at how many 'Hero' titles they've released in the last year to see that!

I've always thoroughly enjoyed the single player on Call of Duty games but the online never did it for me.

Bad Company 2 however is just amazing and with Dice's track record with multiplayer, I'm looking forward to Medal of Honor. Until then though I'm hooked on BC2 .

Incorrect, games on demand are priced in £'s on the UK Live service.

I think the fact that it seems to have one of the worst online fanbases out there doesn't really do it any favours.
#34
Cheers for that, was hoping to get a 19.99 game for 15 quid or thereabouts.

Really?

That sounds even more rediculous than buying them with GBP, I'm sure some people still fall for it though.

EDIT: Yep, you're absolutely right
