Says upgrade to delux on the web page...delux also include breakfast but something tells me not in this case...wonder how expensive it is to eat?...and if I have to ask then I can't afford it.....
#8
What is the normal rate for this room?

I'm also not seeing where this upgrades to deluxe, either. May be just as well, don't know if I need to do this anyway, lol.

Anyone see if this Hotel has a car park. I can't see any reference to them having one?. If they don't do any of you guys know about long stay parking in the capital?

If you are not too bothered about the upgraded room they have other deals...£159 end of August so with extras may be better for some.

Parking in the capital costs an arm and a leg...depending on how much your willing to pay...the cheapest option is to park near a tube station away from the centre of london for free and then catch the tube down....used to do that when I was studying at Uni....

£309 per night is the cheapest I found (for 26th Aug)

Just realised, I included my 10 year old grandson. With him £309, without him £129!

A loophole nowc plugged as most outer suburban areas have a 1 hr parking restriction per day e.g. no parking 10.00 - 11.00AM to stop commuter parking.

There are car parks relatively close to the Lowndes, but reckon on paying around £4 per hour in that area. You could always ring up the hotel and ask them what the options are.

NB Don't forget that the rets are subject to 5% service and may be (??) subject to 15% VAT.

My guess is that breakfast probably costs around the £20-25 per person mark, so even at 60% off, the extras on this work out quite expensive.

Rooms 15 - 17SqM . That really is very very small ....

Still, potentially a great deal !

You can usually find free parking on a Saturday or Sunday in this area, it's not as hairy as you think just steer clear of Harrods! If you are looking at a weekday then steer clear of the centre of London and find a tube station car park or somewhere nearby.
