Not much info on it but I suppose there doesn't need to be as it's a straight forward enough thing. Plug one end in your ciggy lighter socket and the other end in the ciggy lighter of another vehicle (nice helpful person required), wait 15 minutes (although I have had instant success in the past) and start your car! (assuming it's a battery issue of course).

Well worth keeping one in your boot to help you or someone else out. Much safer than jump leads too.

Cold, why? I couldn't find one anywhere else, let alone cheaper.

A set of jump leads makes so much more sense.

Yes and no. I have seen people attach them the wrong way round causing massive sparkage and caused damage lol. You simply cannot do it wrong with one of these.

tried one of these once, took ages, i gave up and got the jump leads out!

It helps if the other car it's attached to is revved to around 3,000RPM and held there. Just letting it idle will take forever. This applies to jump leads too or you risk flattening the battery of the donor vehicle if you don't.

Come on cold voters, show us where you can get one cheaper.

use your brain, thin bit of wire and a cig lighter socket rated at no more than 15-20amps or standard set of jump leads rated at about 600amps.

Well these are not meant to jump start you car, this is just used to charge your battery so it can start

They work, so what's the problem?

Have you seen someone connect jump leads wrong? It's not pretty.
