Cant see that this would power more than a small car, but I may be wrong?

This device does not operate like jump leads. It is plugged into each lighter socket, the donor car is then left running whilst the flat battery is charged. This process can take in excess of an hour. They are no good for a quick emergency start.

True, plus, because you are desperate to get your motor started it's only natural to 'try it' every 10 minutes or so and thus use -up any charge the device might have managed to carry over!

Waste of money and time.
