A short break to Rome including return flights and three nights at a 4-star hotel is now £139 per person with Broadway Travel. This saves up to 49% or regular rates and could cost less than one night in a central London hotel.

You'll also get daily buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a bottle of wine in the room on arrival. Travel is available from the following airports:

Manchester... 23 October; 16, 25, 30 November; 7 December
London Stansted... 6, 13 October; 14, 28 November; 6, 8, 11, 14 December; 13, 27 January
Bristol... 25 November; 3, 10, 17 December; 7, 14, 21, 28 January; 26 February; 18 March
London Gatwick... 26 November; 1, 8 December; 9, 13, 15, 21, 24, 28 January; 3, 5, 7, 12, 25, 27 February; 5, 12, 19, 25 March
Guests will stay at Executive Style Hotel, a 4-star property a couple minutes' walk from Villa Doria Pamphili, where you'll find the city's largest landscaped park. The nearest metro station, Cornelia, is a short walk away, giving easy access to the Vatican and the Eternal City's main sights. Click here for more information and a full list of dates.

Checked bags and return shuttle transfers are not included, and start from £25 and £25, respectively.

Ah but if it were true. I contacted Broadway Travel about this yesterday to find out availability from Manchester. All the prices were higher... about £340 for 2 . They said the flights had gone up.... Flights are RyanAir too

Edit : plus £25 each transfers... Plus £25 if you want hold luggage. Still not bad

These too good to be true deals are exactly that! I bought a deal through moneysupermarket.com to Budapest for £129 a person for 3 nights with Clear Sky Holidays. To get the deal price, the only flights available were from Stansted going out at 10.00PM and returning at 6.15AM with a baggage allowance of 5Kg hand luggage only! To "upgrade" to a Ryanair flight was an extra £100 or so each!

Needless to say I declined the offer and (eventually) got a refund from moneysupermarket.

Totally agree, there are some real "bargains" around until you add in the transfers, the baggage and all the necessities such as flights from an airport that's reasonably close to home and at a time when it's possible to get to and from the airport by cadging a lift rather than having to use the airport area car parks.

Booked this as a birthday treat for my daughter, decent flight time from Manchester Friday - Monday, really looking forward to it :-)

It's not Rome, but I booked Berlin for two nights in march for £86 return easyjet for two from Liverpool sat 10am/return mon or tues4.30pm, add a 4 star hotel for the £60-65 a night mark and that's £104-£108 each (2 nights) so 3 nights and price but a far greater choice of hotels (ibis £38 a night)

For Rome, to be fair you don't need to pay £25 for transfers... there's coaches outside the airport to Termini for about 4 euros, or the train is not much more...

Does any one pay £25 each for transfers you can hire car at airport for £49 + little bit to insure your excess then at least
you can see a bit more of Italy . Or do what supercarl says if you dont fancy driving

Terravision coaches go every half an hour roughly from the airport to Rome bus terminal in the city center and is 8 euro return! Don't bother paying for transfers. Amazing city
Robdk#12
What supercarl says. Transfers are a generally a complete waste of money for city breaks unless there's a few of you and a taxi would work out cheaper. Also the cabin baggage allowance on Ryanair is 10kg and that should be more than enough for a 3 night stay. Hard to judge this deal though really so not voting either way, in my experience these deals rarely work out better than buying the flights and hotel seperately.

Would be on this if there were any midlands flights, looks like it's back to looking to get a good deal to Venice!!

On a deal like this, I'd rather see the price without hold baggage and transfers. Many people nowadays have learnt to manage a few nights with just hand luggage and all big cities have cheap ways of getting into the city on public transport.

BEWARE

I stayed at this hotel with this deal in feb this year. It is nowhere near the town centre and is a 25 minute walk to a train station

Terravision was rubbish for us it never turned up and it takes an hour anyway, take the leonardo express train instead cost 14 euro and took only 20 mins. For 4 ppl it would be slightly cheaper to get a taxi
