Edit - Includes all fee's, no extra charges! Based on 2 adults and 2 children although other prices will be similar

For £399 per person, travellers will fly direct from London to Orlando and stay for 14 nights at the Destiny Palms Hotel in Kissimmee on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The price also includes free airport transfers.

The hotel comes highly recommended on Tripadvisor and is good value for the area, with an outdoor swimming pool and comfortable rooms.

It is perfectly situated for visiting Disney World and is less than a mile from Animal Kingdom, three miles from the main entrance of Walt Disney World Resort and minutes from the other attractions that Kissimmee has to offer.

Depart on various dates between April and June. Other airport departures are available for a supplement.

Is it actually at this price? or does it include airport taxes, luggage allowance, meals on the plane etc..?
#2
Just phoned them, it's based on 2 adults and 2 children although prices will be similar for other variables/family sizes. But the good news is that it does include all fee's! Immense.

Hope that helps.

Yeah the link doesnt take you directly there so just search for Orlando. You'll also notice there are other offers including £439 for the same type of holiday but with Disneyworld transfers. Or there is one for £499 including car rental with insurance for 2 people. All genuinely good deals

And typically at a time when kids are in, or at least should be, school. Of course when they're on holiday the same thing would cost about £5k but its not a rip off, its supply and demand. Yeah, thanks to your supply and demand excuse my family can't afford to go because a) we won't take kids out of class and b) my wife is a teacher.

Thanks holiday companies, we really appreciate being treated like this.

Great deal if you can get it mind ...

Or we could compel holiday companies to sell all holidays at the same price throughout the year. Consequently school holidays would sell out in 10 seconds, with the other 40 weeks going unsold because the price is too high. By the time it gets to the summer holidays the company would have gone bust,so no-one travels.

just been told only hand luggage allowance with this so extra £38 per 20KG suitcase

In which case you are stating that it's OK for families to subsidies cheap holidays for those lucky enough to be in a position to be able to book outside of school holidays.

This is basic supply and demand! If you buy a winter jacket full price in September, then you subsidise the person who buys one in the sales in February and March. If you travel at peak time you pay peak rates.
If you have children you expect to pay more for certain things, holidays being one. I’m a parent and realise that with the pleasure of having kids comes the pain of paying more for things... Still wouldn’t change it for the world!

While I won't begrudge anybody's right to grumble about the whole children thing, there're plenty of us without children, and these deals are great for us.
#26
BTW you will pay about the same price again just for your park tickets if you want to go disney and universal!

Not when the prices are based on 2 adults and 2 kids they're not.

Not quite.I'm trying to point out that uniform pricing on holidays simply would not work. I don't get worked up about holiday prices. The price is the price, you either pay it or don't.A foreign holiday is a luxury after all.

I love Orlando but would only ever go during school term time to minimise the amount of children there. (Along with queue sizes).

Great - another deal that families with kids at school cannot go to!
If only someone could show one that us parents can look at for once.
#31
Thanks - That's awesome!!!

I just Googled "Jetline Travel reviews" and it would seem that they could be better......

So it's £399 per person and do the children qualify as a person?

How do you add check-in luggage for individual passengers with Thomas Cook ? It says it can only be done in the airport on the day of departure, starting from £20 per 20 kg bag. Is it guaranteed ? I do not want to turn up in the airport with a 20 kg bag and face the £hunreds excess luggage fee or be told that I can't check the bag in at all.
