As a general rule with the mainstream cruieslines you'd expect to pay up to £100 a day for an outside cabin so this looks okay.

The problem for me would be all those days at sea but some people like that. I'd suggest flying budget to Barcelona and 12 nights on RCI on a far more interesting intinerary at £956 outside (their site's price, cheaper prob available). You could add a couple nights hotel Barcelona and not be much over the £1099 above.

I was on the Ventura a few months ago in the Caribbean

Scalextric Track - nothing to write home about, it was in kids club!
Games room - only a few PS3's in kids club, hardly an amusement arcade
Golf driving net - Literally you get to hit the ball about 5 yards then it hits the end net, no knowledge if it was a good shot or not
Tennis court - not full size, sagging net
Football pitch - er, it's the tennis court with the net taken down and it's suitable for 3 a side
Basketball Court - er, it's the tennis court again with one single basket in the centre of the side wall, so no end to end games
Sunloungers - good luck with getting one when it's an at sea day

Other than that it was alright

ship opinions aside it is a fantastic price for this cruise.
Especially as the kids price is reduced even more.

when compared to other 14 nt cruises on comparable ships it is excellent value for money.
