Not a bad price. Looks like flying with Thomson? Only downside I would mention is that I believe their planes are very cramped to Florida, but that may not be the usual - just somebody mentioned this in a thread a few weeks ago. Never flown with them myself so don't know. Sanford is better than Orlando International too as you're out in no time (OI takes AGES) - but then you have a longer drive so swings and roundabouts I guess.

Still a good price nevertheless - flights with Virgin for the Saturday 1 September for 14 nights are about £1,300 which is ok(ish) but factor in £50 a night hotel and the price creeps up to about £2,000!

You can usually get good deals to Florida at the end of August each year, especially if they run into the new school year. Good for couples either without kids or with kids under 5.

Sorry, disagree on one of your comments. Sanford is a LOT slower than MCO in my opinion. . I've been through sanford 5 times and MCO 4 times. MCO is far quicker, and less hassle. However that is irrelevant, this is still a great deal price wise. :)

only good for families really.. who would willing go to florida? lol I mean it is a good price considering flights are that much and well 14 nights accommodation is very good.. but to travel to the good places it would costs extra so would be cheaper overall to fly direct to preferred place.

We flew to Sanford on a Thomson plane a few weeks ago. Seat pitch was bigger than both Virgin and BA (in coach) and service was better in my opinion.

Sanford airport was a breeze to get through. Staff are friendlier than MCO, immigration staff were smiling and joking.

Love Florida - sunshine, happy people and great golf courses. Would book this now if I could get time off (_;)
