Seems like a decent price for an ok movie

Renowned horror novelist Mike Enslin (Cusack) only believes what he can see with his own two eyes. After a string of bestsellers discrediting paranormal events in the most infamous haunted houses and graveyards around the world, he scoffs at the concept of an afterlife. Enslin's phantom-free run of long and lonely nights is about to change forever when he checks into suite 1408 of the notorious Dolphin Hotel for his latest project, "Ten Nights in Haunted Hotel Rooms." Defying the warnings of the hotel manager (Jackson), the author is the first person in years to stay in the reputedly haunted room. Another bestseller may be iminent, but like all Stephen King heroes, Enslin must go from skeptic to true believer - and ultimately survive the night.

Personally loved it. Afew good scares abd twists. 1 scene in particular stayed with me ages after it ended, where he sees his daughter while in the room and embraces her.... Ill leave it there.

This film is utter crud! Considering the cast, it's such let down!! Save your £2.99!!!

It's not bad at all. Not great but not bad. John Cusack is always worth watching as is Jackson. Good price.

Out of stock, mind. I've ordered anyway, but if you want it quicker, it's in stock at Amazon, and £2.98.

very good film for me,if you like horror you will like this

WELL WORTH £3 - quite a twisty ending as well in the cinema version....6.9 IMDB rating (altho i think its more a 7.5!!!)
The directors cut ending sounds a bit depressing though!

....Cusack never makes a dud film (apart from 2010 if the critics are to be believed LOL)

This was the film I saw on my first date with my current girlfriend.

One of the worst films I've had the misfortune of paying the see.

Thankfully it gave me an excuse to ask her out again and we saw Superbad a few days later. Thanks god!

Cracking film, loved it. This is most claustrophobic and scary film I have seen in years.

Great film, I loved it, quite a few scary moments. I actually stayed in the Hotel where the exterior of it was filmed.

How can you people say this is a bad film??! I've watched it 3 times and must say its excellent! Or very good at least. Don't know if I would classify it as horror but definately a freaky movie. Anyone on the fence about buying it don't be. Crackin' movie! Heat added.

Funny how personal taste in horror movies is - I'd say more so than any other genre. Personally, I loved this film - creeped me out good and proper!
