Does anyone find it a little odd that there are no reviews of the X43/X44 online and it seems the argos group is the only place that sells it. Its not even listed on the Olympus website. Makes me think its a re-brand of some unkown?

I don't see the "WOW". It's a cheap Olympus at a cheap price with far too many megapixels for it's own good. I would suggest that £70 is about the price you should be paying for it.

Dont buy it.

Takes decent video

Takes worse photos then my old camera that is 5 years out dated. Every photo is either blurry, way to bright, most the time both. Has a lot of different settings but none of them take good photos. The image stabilization doesnt work at all. Plus it eats a...

Good standard camera, 14 mpxls, fairly easy to use

it did not take good pictures. We decided to return it because the edges were too blurry for us. We wanted a way to take pics of art, but this camera was far worse than all of our other cameras

to be fair, the reviews on argos (75 of them for the X43) give it top rating. Midn you, I wouldnt buy a store specific camera anyway.

Hard to say this is 'hot' without anything to compare it with. Can get a Fujifilm FinePix AX280 for £75 at Amazon which has similar spec. So perhaps not so hot then.

No HD video either which seems to be the thing that pushes compact cameras over £100.

Having said that the AX280 does have HD video capture so maybe I'm wrong! Whatever the AX280 trounces this one IMO!

High MP doesn't mean good pic quility.

WOW! 14 Megapixels doesn't mean anything..*sigh* It's all about the size of the sensor.
