Thanks mikeyp :)

Widescreen? "Max Resolution 1024 x 768" would suggest it's not. Hopefully eBuyer have it wrong. Surely a WXGA panel of this size would be 1280 x 800?

It's wider looking that my current monitor.

Nice price, good for anything but video or gaming I'd expect with that 16ms.
Great extra monitor if you have the space.

The review on ebuyer says this is 1440x900 which probably makes this one of the best value pixel/£ ratio monitors around.

Good if it can cope with that by emulation, but it would be highly unusual for the panel to have that pixel density at this price point (the only place you commonly see 1440x900 15.4" panels is on Apple laptops).
This looks almost identical - but is higher spec (12ms) - and still only 1280x800.

If it has 1440x900- it's an absolute bargain - but as neither ebuyer or the manufacturer's web site say so, don't be disappointed if it's not!

Perfect for you then, if all you need is a VGA connection!

I used to play half-life on my old Neovo TFT which had a response time of 25ms and it was fine. Im sure this would be okay for some games. Reviews are promising and it looks half decent.

Cant go wrong at that price.
EDIT: Price has gone up slightly, now £75.19 inc VAT. Ebuyer you sneaky beggers.

Also one of the reviews says it gives great DVD playback.

I'd like someone who bought it here to give us a review tho :P

Doubt it. That's a much newer panel with 8ms response not 16. At least the DGM site I posted has got the right name on the front!

Try looking at the manufacturers model number on ebuyers site. It's not exactly the first time ebuyer have used generic pictures.

Besides, most of these cheaper brands just stick their name on the front of generic displays anyway.

You're right, of course - and rebadging isn't just restricted to the cheaper brands! I can understand ebuyer using a generic photo (although in this case ( :) ) it's probably correct), but getting the spec so wrong is just plain incompetent. 1024x768 16ms indeed! Voted hot...

Looks like it's 1280x800, as a different brand but same model number at ccl

It's a bit cheaper too for me as I'm local and could collect!
