Asda also have 15 free range eggs (mixed sizes) for £2.00 or 3 packs for £5.00 (there are various chilled items also included in this 3 for £5.00 offer).

Yeah, great price. Dunno what they are feeding the hens, though as it's more difficult than usual to crack them open cleanly without bits of shell going everywhere.

The Morissons value ones (caged) are 15 for £1.45 and tempted to spend 55p extra for better quality eggs and size (values ones the sizes differ greatly).

Imagine the tesco 15 for £1.50 will be caged too.

But for those without chickens, always buy free range!

I have 4 chickens too. They were ex battery hens and were in a right state when we got them I would never buy eggs from caged hens again.
