Can't find anything in Scotland.

Good deal, but the father's day connection is a little tenuous!!
#3
Sounds like quite a good deal BUT please be aware that this deal only becomes active after a certain number of people have purchased it. I don't know whether this deal has reached the "tipping point" yet - anyone?

See here: http://www.groupola.com/static/page/howitworks

What happens if they dont reach tipping point and how do u know what that is?

The website is very misleading. 48 sales had the progress bar up at about 65%. Its now showing 71 and the bar has only moved a little. Looks like a good deal, but if they cant be honest about how many they need to sell, they wont get my money.

I went for it and got my voucher straight away, so I guess the threshold is quite low. The text I've pasted below is taken from a site that discusses these group-buying websites, which ight explain why the progress bar hasn't moved much. It doesn't mean that this isn't a good deal though

Viral
It has been suggested that these type of sites are one big marketing ploy to get the deals to go viral – with a low number of users required to sign up to deals, they rarely get dropped, but if it’s a good deal it will be emailed / Tweeted / Facebooked around friends, family and followers to ensure it gets taken up, and before you know it the retailer has generated hundreds of sales rather than just the 50 they say is necessary for the deal to go through

Check you can use the voucher on what you want - if you click on the Go To Deal link and then view the discussion in the top right of the page it seems like you can only use it on 'summer madness' items.

There is a summer madness section on the tellallmyfriends website that doesn't include many things - tried to link to it but hotukdeals don't let me for some reason.

13 experiences to choose from. Strange thing is there were only about 7 available when I checked this morning! Maybe they'll add more?

Hmmm...be aware that some of these experiences are not as good value as you might think. For example the "Become a Master Chef" one actually costs £15 and is on BOGOF if you search for it directly (http://www.tellallmyfriends.com/products/food-lovers/cookery-classes/cook-eat-run) and the SMS treasure hunt is £17, saving you a whole £2! if you use the summer madness card

a bit sneaky

Surley a £50 card can be used for more than one activity if the value is under £50 ?

As I understand it, the card can only be used for activities listed on the summer madness page, which lists the £15 activity as costing £50. So you would spend the whole £50 on the Master Chef activity.

see my thoughts above - I think the £50 can only be used for activities listed on the summer madness card page

ooh yes. overlooked that one

COLD - Apart from White Water Tubing in Northamptonshire (which is location specific), the only other things are Treasure Hunts (which I wouldn't give you £5 for) and Photo sessions (which are normally one free photo and you get conned an extortionate price for anymore).

I dunno, the pamper pack and the VIP head massage/hair treatment seem good for £15 for the ladies

I was under the assumption that for my £15, I would be getting £50 credit to spend so surely that would be almost enough for 3 Treasure hunts at £17 each and hopefully I can pay £1 extra ??? by card ??? Help on this please ?

I have just bought one of these, on the hope that it will pay for or part pay for 3 Treasure Hunts.

If that is the case then that seems like false advertising. How can the same thing be advertised at £17 and then £50 . Gonna complain if that is so and deffo get a refund.

Its a freeeeezing cold vote from me.
