Another Gilitch from tesco

Word of warning. I tried the local tesco's for this last week and they could not put the payment through, something about issues with the £15 itunes cards. Since then our local branch has withdrawn all the £15 cards. Wish i could find somewhere where it works i needed one :-(

It's not a glitch, thats the offer they have on at the moment

Do they do these at the Express stores then? I thought they'd only have them in Extra stores.

But not an uncommon offer - many companies have ran this before or something similar. In fact, I can't remember the last time I paid full price for one!

Yes yes we know "...corporate bloatware...blah blah blah..." The fact is, it's very convenient, and not always horrendously priced. People like me who have iPod Touches, and want to download tracks straight to the device, or who want to buy (the very reasonably priced) apps don't have huge issues with buying from iTunes.

But yes...each to their own...

Absolutely agree with you. I always buy these for a £10 and give them as birthday gifts to my sons friends as they all seem to be getting touches. Parents really appreciate them as well as they are not having to give credit card details.

Thanks.

Whilst it's true most people aren't lazy enough to buy tracks from iTunes, the app store is quick and convenient for people who don't want to Jailbreak their phones and ipods.
#9
Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer to buy a physical CD, rip it to my computer, then drag and drop it into my simple MP3 player.

mine's JB'd. Still buy certain things from Itunes though :)

hope it's nationwide
#12
I use these to buy apps and games for my touch, and very, very rarely buy music on itunes as it's much cheaper to buy the actual cd...
#13
I only use them for the app store, but these mean an easy 1/3 off everything I've ever bought from there.

Can anyone confirm nationwideness?

Been waiting for this deal to come back.

I agree with most of the above posts regarding it being a waste to use for music. However if you have an Iphone or Ipod touch these vouchers are gold dust for buying apps.

These deals will sky rocket once the Ipad is out here.

Couldn't agree more! Essentially makes the App Store a 3rd cheaper.

Very sensible...always nice to have a lossless version of a track on a disc, even if you primarily listen to it digitally. Sometimes though, you just want the one track, and it ain't on Spotify...and for the sake of 30/40/50p, it's just easier to go iTunes...

...I think you'll find the word you're looking for is 'nationwideacity'...

lol ;)

Deal is nationwide, picked up 7 in Exeter!

Shame iTunes is so expensive. Apps are reasonable but songs can be found for cheaper. Or if like me you listen to alot of music, buy a Spotify Premium account + iPod Touch + Nokia 5230 = All music you want :)

If you jailbreak your iphone can you get every app available for free? or is it just the ones banned by apple (tethering, screen customization etc)

Yeah, but then you're paying £10 per month to hang on to the tracks you end up liking. I'm a Spotify Premiumist too - but I hate the thought I'll lose great tracks when i ditch the sub...so I keep the Spotify tracks...then as soon as I find the CD at a great price, I buy it and scrub the tracks from my Spotify...best of both worlds...not cheap though!

I grabbed three in Solihull yesterday. Purchased and activated fine.

No point-of-sale advertising the promotion, but there was a string of £15 iTunes vouchers in the Sandwich section which are not normally there, so maybe there waiting for some printing to be done....
#36
Looks like this has been stopped, normal price in Durham Extra
#37
Think it's just Tesco Express(?) - the small ones, normally within petrol stations etc.

Tried my two most local Express ones and they don't stock iTunes cards and the like. Was going to ask if it's available in normal Tesco stores but looks like you've already answered my question :(
#38
Aii, they are £15 in Watford too :x:x
#39
Can't find the deal anywhere

I want my heat back :x

Definitely expired. Got one more today and scanned at regular price.
