  Stopped in ovacik a few times and liked it there, easy to get around on dolmus to fethiye ,olu deniz and hisaronu,plenty of places to arrange boat trips ,jeep safaris etc. we are off down the road to calis beach in may for 11 nights

  how do you guys find these bargains...trying to find a 1-2 week holiday for me and my gf in aug-sep in either turkey,greece,cyprus or wtahever somewhere hot with a beach...but can't find anything below £300 pp...I want a holiday below £100 pp in aug-sep is that possible?

  I normally book flights and hotel separately , I use trip advisor for reviews on hotels and resorts, booked flights with monarch just over a week ago and with discount code worked out £105 each return and booked hotel in calis beach , I book direct with hotel 11 nights half board £10 per day each and hotel picks us up from dalaman and drops us back for £30

  Really cheap great find looks ok I like this area lot more than Marmaris

  Hisaranu is a tourist-trap-nightmare but the surrounding area is lovely. Seems like a bargain at this price.

  There's not much to see in Ovacik, quiet but a few nice restaurants. However it is near to Hisaranu which is very commercialised with English themed shops and bars if you like that sort of thing: "Delboy's" store etc. A bus ride away is the coastal area of Olu Deniz which has a beautiful bay. I did the paragliding off the top of the mountain down on to the beach, which was an experience to remember.

  Market in Hisonoru on Mondays, some good bargains if you negotiate well. The market in Fethiye is a lot bigger I think this is Teusday (but I woud'nt swear to this) ask the dolmus driver to drop you off.
  Lots of places to go Kalkan and Kas easy drive can easily do them on rented scooter.
  You can get the Dolmus from Fethiye to Gocek (cheap) Just look at the place names on the front of the Dolmus hop on and give it a try.
  Hisaronu in October was cold at night (olu Deniz 6 degree's warmer) so this might be the case in April

  This is a really nice area. Good food & nice sights.
  Theres a bus that takes you to all the needed places.
  
  I guess its a bit of a mix of a tourist area, and a local area. There's tons of people selling fake perfumes. But there's also local markets etc
