Of course your not being ripped off!
You will just pay less if you go to a local DIY/Specialist shop rather than a multiple (B&Q/Homebase)
Same as local butchers, greengrocers and fishmongers are genererally cheaper with better quality than supermarkets.
Your not being ripped of your just paying for head office and directors salaries and bonuses etc.

Stupid website won't let me reserve my flooring, keeps saying there's a problem with the link selected. Tried different browsers etc.

Was hoping to get 1.5% Quidco and then collect the Nectar instore.

Spending £250

Typical dirty sales tactics being used for this. Put the price up in order to take 15% off & it still works out more expensive than when not in the sale.

took advantage of this over the weekend to get garden plants, so i think it worked out ok for me - spent about £100, so saved about £15

"Homebase Caution! on Friday I purchased a Mophead Hydrangea for £16, when I returned to the store on Saturday morning to buy another and take advantage of the 15% off offer I discovered the price had been hiked up to £18, wiping out any 15% reduction.(_;)
