JUST READ THE B&Q ADD IN THE PAPER, THIS FRIDAY TO MONDAY. NOT FRIDAY TO SUNDAY

MSE find:

We've been tipped off that you can get 15% off when you spend over £50 in store at B&Q* from Fri 21 - Sun 23 May. What's more, the offer includes sale items, and no voucher's needed - the discount will be deducted automatically at the till.

When you spend over £50 you'll also be given a discount card valid for 10% off, valid in store on as many subsequent transactions as you like.

This is also usable until Mon 31 May, though it can't be used with other voucher promotions, on gift cards or with trade cards. The discount isn't valid online

i have a 10% discount card valid for the whole of May - i wonder if this will work on top of the 15% discount?
#5
hmmm this makes their Makita 18V combi and 2 x 1.3Amp batteries only £85 :)

Tempting..... if only they would throw in a bit set, I'd be there!

Hot - Thanks for sharing, will save a few quid.

Excellent!

Was actually going to go to B&Q on the way home today to buy quite a bit of stuff, but putting up with the friday night rush to save about £40 will do it for me!

Thanks!

Terms of the 10% discount card say it can't be used with any other offer.

Even with a 15% discount I doubt very much if B&Q could compete with a timber merchant for decking boards!
#13
Great stuff.......does anyone know how much delivery is from the store? I need lots of Decking Boards although i have no transport!

£0-£400 it's £20
£400+ it's FREE

If you are not able to get your items home from store, why not use our store delivery service. Ask your local store for details on their delivery area.

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/templates/content_lookup.jsp?content=/content/support/shopping_at_bq/delivery.jsp&menu=default#cost

Your local store may have slightly different pricing due to how close you live.

You must have a VERY good timber merchant if they can beat some of B&Q's recent decking offers - do a search.

£20 for home delivery and probably a huge delay. Pay £20 I would want next day delivery like i.e. Wickes.
I personally just called a few taxi companies who have minibuses and they were happy to come for less than £20. Man with van will also do it.
#17
Are you saying that a man with van will drive to B&Q, locate your decking, load it up, drive to your house and unload it all probably taking an hour or more of his time for less than £20 ???

Theres someone who can't call himself a businessman

different lengths...

2.4m and 3m for sure.

if you know what you're getting and you can get reserve and collect ... you can claim another 3.5% quidco.

You pay for the items in store and if it's >£50, you'll get 15% off plus 3.5% quidco.
#22
Thanks for the info.....just phoned B&Q and delivery is £20 and the earliest day for delivery in my area is the start of june.....hmmm what 2 do!!!

Can anyone confirm whether this offer is active?

Yes, it definately is. I got an email just now to confirm.

What's interesting is that it states that the deal is "on top of existing deals"...Now, is the '10% off' and existing deal??
#25
defo active.....saved £50 yesterday on the decking we were after, plus we got our 10% off card for the rest of may :-)
#26
