As above really!

£15 for UNLIMITED Internet, Texts & Calls (includes premium rate numbers) - 30 day rolling contract!

Virgin use EE. So coverage should be decent in most area's as they claim to cover 99%

Spoke to a representative via inbuilt chat system to clarify what was DOWNLOAD FAIR USAGE. I was advised that this was TRULY UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD! And there was NO fair usage! This is restricted to 3G at the moment and they also told me when Virgin can agree something with EE this WILL INCLUDE 4G!

I know this wont be to everybody's liking but hopefully will help some people!

NO TETHERING ALLOWED!

It is a good price, However my money would go with 3, Virgin just cant tell the truth and for me I suspect traffic shaping etc would sneak in to the the plan at some stage. May be wrong but having dealt with them for many years and have had many issues, I would go with 3 unlimited downloads and tethering along with 4g

The information is totally misleading, please investigate before posting any thing, I just bought this package few days ago , premium number are not included in this offer, also after using 3,5 GB speed will limit to 384kbps, unlimited minutes are 3000. I am facing very slow speed after 9 am , so probably will return

I was with virgin for 3 months this year on this rolling plan. Crap connection, calls being dropped, internet really slow. Changed to 3 and can't fault them. Impressed with the internet speeds on my mobile now.

I have had the Virgin VIP sim card for a few months. I can't fault the connection as its the same as anyone else's. However this does not include premium numbers, where did you get your info for premium numbers?

As for the unlimited internet, they do have a fair usage policy. Which is 3gb a month after that you can still access to data just at a lower speed.( so it is unlimited)

I've been on this for ages. No problems for me. In built up areas I get ok speeds when tethering, sometimes as high as 6-9MB, but generally it's not amazing. The calls are fine for me, I get charged the right amount every month etc etc. I actually pay £10 a month for mine, it was a retention deal. At the time the sim was a lot more, so maybe I should ask for a better price now 8)

just what the representative told me via email. Sorry if this is incorrect d(-_-)b

If thats what they told you by email, I'd go for it.

I might just get on the phone to them and ask for the same thing.

Their page says no tethering, however I have tethered to my laptop on bluetooth a few times with no problems.

I doubt the 3.5GB threshold has been removed. The CSR is probably ignorant.

Too expensive. Should cost no more than £10. Cold.

If you have any issues with virgin expect customer service to be useless and lie.

Been with virgin for years and never had a problem with connection or speed of Internet

Good deal but 3's is better for an extra £3 you get tethering and the data allowance is truly unlimited, virgin have a fair usage policy that only allows you so many gig.

I think the only Unlimited deal close to that money was the T-Mobile Full Monty deal @ £16 p/month for 12 months, but you got £100 cash back.

The deal still pops up now and again, but the cash back had halved the last time I checked.

Virgin Sims also work with T-mobile phones. No need to unlock. oO:)

I'm with Virgin now and won't be renewing. Coverage is patchy but probably like most I suspect. However, there's no excuse for really poor CS - they didn't bother replying to my Emails, Letters and even claimed lack of training to help when I phoned them. I finally got a response when I emailed the Chief Exec direct. The data cap is definitely 3GB, it will then slow down from an already slow connection. I also think the EE network is way over-subscribed with a number of virtual networks using them. The amount of times I have a full signal but can't get a data connection and sometimes can't make a call or even send a text is increasing.
AVOID if you can. I'll be switching to 3 as soon as I can.

Are you 100% sure???

I pay £8 for this package , and they do slow you down when you use more than 3GB . Sometimes it is 3.5GB . I don't get premium numbers .

what lets the network company know that we are tethering with our phone ?
#30
They don't .I tether regularly .
#31
3 are mobile cowboys.Would rather use 2 tin cans and a piece of string.Faster and more reliable and jeez the customer is like ordering a takeway drunk.

I think the only time they know you're tethiring is if using an iPhone. I tether on my Android phones and not had any issues.

I'm on this sim as well have been for about 2 months i work in Greenwich and for me the service at work is beyond poor as i get dropped calls all the time and the 3g well i dont get any at all :-( My phone is always using E and i have asked them to look into it and they said must just be a bad reception so it goes from 3g to E so you can still get a connection and its like my phone is on WAP :-(

As for me i will be going back to 3 i think as the 4g will be great and I'm just waiting for the Iphone 5s to be released and off i go :-)

Just thought i would give some input into this :-)

I work for virgin and can confirmed there is no limit. The system has a limit on of 45000 mins 60000 texts and 2048GB per month but this is just as the system has to have a number associated with it and it won't actually cut of at these numbers.

I was with Orange for many years eventually dumped them for T-Mobile because of bad customer service and have with T-Mobile for about ten years. Since this merger to create the "EE monster" network things have really gone down hill. I know a lot of people who are either on Orange or T-Mobile and we all suffer from bad reception, poor call quality, dropped calls, very very slow internet and to top it all poor customer service. Brings back memories of when I was with Orange and as I understand it EE's 4G speed is comparable to network 3's 3G. So I wouldn't hold any hopes of anything good if EE are the carriers.

I have this rolling month contract I have had no problems at all :s and I find there customer service very efficient they reduced my first months bill to 7.50 :)

i agree, EE have a cap on their "unlimated data" so for virgin to say theirs is "truly unlimited" i very much dout that. Still a good deal!

15% off for students too...

No tethering, no way. Think I'll go with 3.
