Free Spring Bulbs
It's nearly the end of the Spring Bulb season and we have some stock that we'd like to share with you. We've got a mix of varieties where we have small quantities of stock available and we'd like to offer them to you free but we do need to ask that you pay £3.95 for the cost of carriage. Your pack will include 150 BULBS including a number of different flower varieties such as tulip, crocus, muscari and allium. This is a limited offer, only available while we've got stock to send. We can't wait to get the bulb store clear! (Please note that you will need to pay additional standard carriage charges if you order anything else. This offer is only available in mainland UK).

ordered from this company before very good customer service
used 10% off to get this price x

Great offer, seems wrong to be taking another 10% off when these are basically free, just paying for postage. Anyhow, I still ordered with the 10% voucher.

it does if you enter at basket stage rather than payment stage

Definitely not energy saving bulbs as digging is involved to install them. ;)

Ok found this but i guess we don't know what we are getting do we? if they are spring bulbs this says they should be in by the end of September, i suppose for £4 what have you got to lose if they don't come up. According to the list you get both spring and summer bulbs.

Autumn

* Plant spring-flowering bulbs, such as daffodils, crocus and hyacinths, preferably by the end of September.
* Plant tulips in November.
* Plant hardy summer-flowering bulbs, such as lilies, alliums and crocosmia, in September and October.

Spring

* Plant tender summer-flowering bulbs, including gladioli, in early spring.

Summer

* Plant autumn-flowering bulbs, such as nerines, by late summer.

Code didn't work, but ordered anyway. Need to turn over the soil out back anyway.

and the good thing about this company is:

you ring them up if they DO NOT grow!
and they will compensate you
very good customer service

as already mentioned you need to apply the code at the basket stage - working perfectly here.

Are they Energy Saving Bulbs ?

Yes..... If you turn all your appliances off whilst you plant them.

They are going to grow but you are going to want to plant them as soon as they arrive, before the ground is toor hard!.

If you don't have a bulb planter they make the job 10 time quicker, the ones on a long handle are best. That'd make them low energy bulbs.

If you have to plant in small numbers always pick uneven numbers (3,5,7 etc) as that looks a bit more natural.

Thats everyhting I know about bulbs.
