I've got a mifi device on Three , I had a 5gb allowance for £15, saw on their website- ipad sim 10gb for £15- called them and asked to upgrade and they gave me 15gb for the same money i was paying on my rolling contract. Brilliant !!!!!

Isnt it a micro sim they are advertising? Would you need an adaptor to enable it to fit in the myfi? Ive got one of these myfi devices and was thinking of phoning 3 to see if i could use an ipad micro sim, £15 for 15gb seems like a much better deal than the 5gb im getting now. Did 3 say the ipad micro sim was ok to use in the myfi?

No geordie, just call 3 customer services and they'll upgrade your current account to 15 gb , starting on your next billing date. No having to change sims or anything!

I also upgraded recently - I knew 5GB was still more than enough for me, so got them down to £7.50pm for 5GB - they're really discounting to keep folk at the moment.

Same here -- called to cancel my 3Gb broadband dongle contract (min. term for that was 18 months but had been using it for 24 months) --

was offered a free Mifi and 5Gb for £7.5 per month (18 month contract)

Info: 3 mobile and t-mobile share their data network -- they have the best network in the UK for data.
Am quite happy with reception.

I'd be very interested in this, anyone know if new customers can get this?

Take out a 30 day contract with them (1 month rolling contract) and after 1 week phone to cancel. They'll offer it to you (did me anyway)

I reckon you need to have the mifi first- then phone customer services. Not available in stores.

You can fit a micro sim in one of these without an adapter - even though the sim tray is designed for standard sized sims. Just slide the micro sim in the tray, making sure the metal parts of the sim and tray align, and it will stay in place without any worries.

I ordered a MIFI contract last Wednesday. It arrived yesterday. It cost 40 pounds. I'm supposed to pay 15 pounds a month for 5GB on a 1 month rolling contract and get 23 pounds back via quidco. I rang up this afternoon to cancel and I was put through to the cancellation dept. The offered me half price immediately for as long as I am with them. So basically (40-23+15= 32). 32 quid for the mifi and 7.50 per month for 5GB on a rolling 1 month contract. I have used 3 mobile broadband in the past and I do agree they are the best value for money.

My reception's gone right downhill the past few months. It used to be great, but I'm not sure I'd recommend them now.

Thier internet is quite fast too for mobile, around 3mb d/l and 2 mb u/l

Three are offering me 10Gb for £15 as a new customer if you contact their chat help through the website, 1 month rolling!

I just called and succesfully halved my tariff from £15 to £7.50 on a rolling contract, it was also possible to get £15 for 15 gb. I recommend going straight through to cancellations when you call. I went through different options the first time, and after being redirected twice i was on hold for 15 minutes before I decided to recall.

Question, with the proposed VAT rise, will we pay more for our tariff? or will three absorb the cost and charge what we signed up for?

I just called cancellations and was offered 5gb for £7.50 a month on a 30 day rolling contract from the previous £15 i was paying. Cheers for the heads up everyone.

The tariff will rise accordingly - Three won't absorb this.

I'm very tempted to do what yasseral1 has done but I've not taken my iPad out of the house yet and I don't know if I'd use it all that much to be honest plus I've got my iphone for that type of stuff....

But I can't refuse a bargain lol

Really tempted by this as my Tmobile £60 for 2 gig a month/1 year deal that I picked up last year off Additions runs out in January.

Unfortunately the chat advisor "Vivian" could not offer me anything at all other than what was already online, although she did end up giving me a £10 off voucher code for any accessories :/

I just rang up 3 to cancel my 5GB £15/month and got offered £7.50 a month straight off.
He capped my allowance to 5GB as it's 10p/MB over allowance.
Many thanks

How long had you been with them for that?

On phone with them now... gave in and bought wifi yesterday... glitch stopped me ordering online so I bought instore and forfeited the cashback...

Yes! Got 15GB for £15, one month contract, will apparently take effect in 4 days <3
