Saw these in a POS display in Swindon Tesco. Looks like a promotion from Energizer rather than a Tesco thing so I'd assume it's nationwide and maybe not even exclusive to Tesco.

I'm sure there are cheaper mail/Internet order places, but this seems like a decent enough deal for those who don't like waiting for things, especially if as in my case your Wii-mote needs juice.

Speaking of the Wii, I got my first perfect game in Wii bowling yesterday. Only took 190 attempts!

Of late I've been buying mine from Argos as they've Philips reduced..

Philips AA Batteries - 20 Pack.Was £7.99 (9800115) Now £4.99

Philips AAA Batteries - 24 Pack.Was £7.99 (9800122) Now £4.99

I've found these to be of good quality and everything that needs batteries has batteries - which is rare in this household, lol

It's always good to have some decent AA batteries in reserve for when all your rechargeables haven't been recharged!

On the other hand, 4 packs of these is what a WiiMote recharge stand for two WiiMotes costs.

Haha I bought a pack of sony alkalis once WASTE OF MONEY they last about 5 seconds. Honestly I had a 12 pack and took them to the alps to use in the gps (which takes 2 aa batteries) and they got munched so quickly it was ridiculous (and dangerous).

Sticking to Duracell or Energiser from now on.

tbh, this isn't too a great a deal if you're stingy like me :p

The shop I work in (small hardware shop) had been getting a good deal from Energizer, you get the same 16 batteries (in AA or AAA) for £3.49. only difference is they aint on a flat pack like in this photo, rather more bunched up.

Superdrug are doing a 10 pack of these for £1.00 per pack.
