First ever post, be nice. I was looking for a fast 16gb micro sd cheap as my htc desire 16gb class 2 was always recording 720p video jerky.

Possible quidco/top cash back??

Sorry if anyone else posted I did a search and could only find class 4's (slight mistake website mixed up read a nd write measruements I have fixed them below:

Low Price Memory 16GB Class 6 Micro-SD Card
Our ultra fast micro-sd memory cards operate at blistering speeds.

Our 16GB Class 6 Micro-SDHC memory cards will transfer data faster than most other memory cards available. If you often transfer large files on your phone such as video or HD video files then you probably have to wait a long time for the memory card to process the data. With a high speed memory card that transfer time can be substantically reduced.

Our 16GB Class 6 Micro-SD card has a write speed of over 9.5mb/s and a read speed of more than 15mb/s (see thumbnail image for test results) making them one of the fastest micro-sd cards available. (rad and write mixed up on website but correct on thumbnail.)

These memory cards also come supplied with an SD adaptor so that the card can be used in numerous devices that use SD or SDHC memory cards.

We are supplying these high speed micro-sd cards with a 5 year warranty.

The Low Price Memory card is supplied in a plastic case with no other retail packaging.

Please note: The printing on the memory card may differ sightly from our image.

Andrew, is your phone the desire HD?
If so then apparently it's not your card.
Try this on your phone; click settings then applications then development.
Put a tick in USB Debugging and click Ok. Go back to your home screen and restart the phone. Try some HD recording on your class 2 card and It should work fine now. You can go back to USB Debugging and take the tick out and see if the HD recording is still ok, if not just put the tick back in.
Doing this also stops the lag/freezing people have been getting when using the phone.
Let me know how you get on :)

sounds a good price, but like others never heard of the company
#7
So this is a class 4 card, rather than a class 6 as the title claims ?
#8
Class 6 according to the title and the website and the picture on the card itself. Cant see anywhere it says class 4?

Company is totally fine from my experience, have ordered from them before with no problems whatsoever. Fast dispatch too, although that could've just been a one-off lucky strike ;)

I saw this last year, but since then there have been other better reviews it would seem. Either they have improved or have posted lots of reviews themselves (which is unlikely).

Having said that I wouldn't risk £20 on an unbranded card from a company I have not used before - just too many unknowns there...

If people don't need 16Gb (unlikely if reading this post) and 8gb will do, then this bomb proof and fast card might just suffice (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-8gb-micro-sdhc-plus-memory-/803258)

That sounds very cheap if it turns out as described!
#16
This is so cheap. I've never bought from the site but it looks fine.
#17
I bumped into this last night also but wanted to get some more info on the company and the card to see if it was worth it.

I'm tempted to have a punt but was wondering if they stuffed the review site with their own reviews, seems a lot of people giving good one line reviews for a company most people have not heard of?

Out of stock now.

My 2 have been shipped today :)

Mine arrived today, i did a quick test with a Class 2 Sandisk that came supplied with a HTC Desire HD and this new one.
I copied a file to both cards and timed it, the file size was 958MB.
Sandisk 8GB Class 2 took: 3:37.5
This 16GB Class 6 took: 1:53.3
#21
So that's 6mb write speed by my reckoning, perhaps it could reach 9 if left but unlikely. Certainly not 9.
#22
Class 6 = 6MB/sec

Just did a 1GB file size test.
Average Write = 5.9MB/s, Read = 13.8 MB/s

TBH I'm happy with that :) One for my Nexus One other should be fine in my SLR.

As long as you're not dissapointed then it's fine but the original post said read speed of 9.5mb/s which is not true from what you've told us. It just has to meet 6mb/s to get class 6 but my Samsung which is also class 6 gets 11/12mb/s and is a smaller capacity. Usually larger capacities have greater write speeds.
#24
Just tried a 2GB File test.
Tests may vary on different hardware. I'm using a Unibody MacBook Pro (Mid 09 / SD Slot)

AJA System Test (Mac) DiskWhackTest (Disable file system cache)

Average Write: 5.9 MB/s / Read: 13.9 MB/s
Max Write: 9.3 MB/s / Read: 15.5 MB/s
