only has an ANALOGUE receiver so you'll need to attach a Freeview/Freesat/Sky box once the analogue signal is switched off !!!

actually, I'm not even sure if it has twin Scart sockets to attach a box
Scart input and output

can we take it to mean that it has twin Scart sockets ?

Great deal, but only having Analogue lets it down big time. That means to record digital TV you will need a separate digital receiver. If you want to time a program its a lot of messing about. It maybe ideal for some people though.

You'd need to check the specs on this model; but my Pioneer and JVC analogue boxes can remote control sky / sat / freevew boxes using a g-link cable and thier own epg (downloaded over the analogue channels). For someone like me in a late switching Freeview region this might make a cheap stop-gap.

Ok - just checked the specs - the deal doesn't seem to have g-link - so as has been said unless you want to manually record from Sat or Freeview you'll be limited to terrestial channels.

Plus £5.99 P+P. Maybe useful for recording from a single security camera
