I noticed today that the price of the 160gb Ipod classic on Ebuyer has fallen by quite a lot. Not long ago it was over £200.

Black = http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132364
Silver = http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132362

There is also a price drop in the 80gb model, it is now £119.99
Black = http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132358
Silver = http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132356

First post, so be nice :)

I just realised i changed my display setting on Ebuyer to show prices Ex vat.

For a guy with 3 more posts than him, you're quite unforgiving! :roll:

Welcome to HUKD woodyboy12, don't let this put you off posting another deal. :thumbsup:
why is this cold? Aplles wheely thing is great I like the way you increase and decrease the volume ang go throuh the songs etc.

I dont have ipod but lets hope it gets reduced more and some makes a firmware that allows you to drag and drop and use the hardisk as an external h/d.

thanks op
Fraid they have been this low for some time. Got one off ebuyer for 190 over 2mths ago. These are grey imports (US models) and thus linked to the £/$ rate as will any you find sub £200 and probably sub £210.
Grey import ones are actually better in that they are not crippled by having the audio capped @ 75% by EEU law (this is before the software settable limiter). Apple UK treat them exactly the same as UK ones for support/warrenty purposes.

Mine was a replacement for one I bought from Overclockers and had to RMA (Then ended up in a protacted fight to get them to accept responsibility and either refund or replace even with a written note from Apple that it was faulty) Best to stay well clear of OC - cheap but their returns policies and proceedures stink. Never had a problem with ebuyer with sales or returns. They even collect FOC for higher value items.

BTW you can use the Ipod as an external disc and have been able to for some time.
I got one of these back in Febuary from the littlewoods clearance site for mega cheap :)
Here's my invoice:
