Just got a call from our local woolies where we've had our name down for a Wii for a while. Apparently Woolworths have recieved a batch of stock (1500ish) and they are now accepting orders and taking payment.

Bonus is - they have that 10% off promotion on at the moment - so mention the Redbook offer, and you will get the discount, taking the price down to £161.

We would like to apologise for an incorrect price featured on our recent email promoting the launch of our new Big Red Book and our extra 10% off selected items promotion in-store. The email incorrectly states that the extra 10% off price for the Xbox 360 3-Game Bundle Pack is £161.99. The correct extra 10% off price is £251.99.

The Xbox 360 3-Game Bundle pack will be available to buy in-store at the extra 10% off price of £251.99 until the offer ends on 12th October, 2007. While stocks last.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the pricing error.

bit of advice if going on the website, dont use the search engine. instead clicl on the tab on the hompage "game bundles" then select wii etc...
you will have more luck going that way .

Viewed this offer and tried again on-line, managed to get Wii Sports pack and Tiger Woods for £194.99. Must have got to the website just in time. Thanks to the original poster.

Yep - I think you are missing the point folks - find Wii stock @ Woolworths instore, and mention the 10% red book promotion, and you can have it for £161 -

Nope. If any store is taking orders and money then it can only be for the ISO (In-store Ordering) which is the same system as what you see on the web site. So if there's none to order on the web site, then there's none to order in-store.

No store will take an order and/or payment for stock they don't have. At least, they shouldn't.

Unless the OP is wrong on the order/payment situation, they have them in stock and they are simply keeping one aside till they come down and pay.

'fraid I can only tell you what I know....they were available online for a while this evening, and the people in the stores were ringing names on their waiting lists and taking online orders. The benefit of doing it through the store was the 10% off - which isn't available online.

Oh well....looks like its expired now, as there's none left online so (if Zebra3 is correct - which I assume he/she is) that means none left for instore ordering.:-( Anyway - hope the post helped someone!
