Can anyone confirm if Karcher accessories will work with this?

I've got one of these - picked it up for £20 from ebuyer a few weeks ago. I have to say that I'm not wowed by it, but for £20 it'll do great for cleaning my car and patio furniture. I tried to do my patio, but the jet is pencil thin and it would have taken me a week to do it. Will have to borrow the father-in-laws heavy duty Karcher for that job.

I also bought the patio cleaner thing off ebuyer, but as stated in one of the reviews for it, it doesn't fit this pressure washer. It does apparently fit Karcher washer though, which would lead me to believe that this washer can't use Karcher accessories.

Thanks for that. Will make a useful replacement car washer when the 12 quid Woolworths job gives up the ghost. As for patio cleaning, you'll be lucky if a machine in this price range lasts long enough to finish the job - even if you have the patience to.

I wouldnt advise cleaning a conservatory with a pressure washer you may make it leak, they are designed for rain falling not coming from all angles from a pressure washer :)
#12
You shouldnt use any form of pressuer washer on alloy wheels.
The pressure forces the water into the particles of the alloy wheels and rots them from the inside.

LOL - I wish you'd posted that yesterday. just spent 12 hours cleaning our conservatory. We had a subspecies of fawns and mosses growing in the gutters.

Now have the cleanest one in the avenue - but also the leakiest!

Anyone konw of any bargains on sealant?

Not heard that before, what's your information source? I've heard that pressure washing can cause problems with lacquered wheels - forcing water behind the lacquer - but my wheels need renovating in any case so hey ho!

once the water gets in there, it gets in there. renovating or whatever you're gonna get done to them isn't going to sort this out, it makes the alloys structurally un-sound and you'll have to send them to the tip. Can't use them, can't sell them.

tbh if alloys are looked after theres nothing wrong in using a PW on them, im a detailer and always have used PW on mine and clients for yrs, and never had a single prob, i foam them, shampoo, rinse dry, glaze and use a sealant.

so dont go these scare stories

Hmmmm ... anyone else crazy enough to wonder how well this would do in a water cooling system?

Got mine today and want to give it a crack tonight if I get chance. Set it up already just need summat to clean now

Got mine today, just need a hose for my taps!

Can anyone confirm if it's standard hoselock fittings for connecting this washer to the taps/hose?

Any cheap hose deals? LOL

Ordered Friday. Got mine Tuesday despite using 5 day delivery ! Thanks again OP. Just done the gas BBQ cooking surfaces. 5 minutes and they are pretty clean, much better than my previous 30 minute manual efforts. And all without soaking in fairy power spray so far :) This makes the £25 worth spending alone!!!

Tried it on the decking too. It may take a little while but early signs are the results are pleasing, again this is without using the (decking cleaner) solution!

So in short no idea how this stands against more expensive washer (e.g. £80), but it does exactly what I need and if it lasts a year or two I will be extremely happy.

Seems to be. That is we have what seems to be a standard hose nosel thing. I pushed it fully on to the pressure washer and though it seemed a little loose it stayed on fine and worked! I originally chucked the hose straight on, but that sprung off as soon as I turned the water on.

On the black plastic thing that attaches to the wand, if you turn it the jet gets wider!

Excuse my ignorance but I have never owned a pressure washer before, do I need to buy a hose as well to use this or can it attach straight to an outdoor tap, if so how long is the extension?

You need to use hose from your tap to the washer which isnt included
#24
Thanks Deanos, so the hose acts as the extension as well then?
#25
