This might help someone, firstly u have to phone to get this deal as its still quite new.

The contract gives flexible credit of 300mins or 600 texts, or 150mins and 300 texts, or any other variation within the £60 value of credit they give you. Best to barter the best amount of minutes or texts u use, which ever more.

you can also choose 5 numbers you use most and those are only half the usual tariff cost.

It also includes unlimited 3g and wifi internet. but confirm this with the guy on the phone.

bargain considering apple sell the iphone 3gs 16gb for £449

I beg to differ. Buy a A Pay as you Go 16gb From TESCO £440 ( They give you 0% for 12 months)and get those points.
Get an O2 simplicity tariff sim card(£20/ month for 12 months = £240) pop it into it.
It works and I am using it.
Get cash back 100 from Quidco when the offer comes back. (So £140 for 12 months Get double minutes texts and internet as compared to Tesco.) Much better .
Total cost 580 + clubcard points which are wort 26£ in deals.
Iphone without internet would be a joke.

1) the quidco deal is not on at the moment
2) the tesco deal also comes with free unlimited internet (3g and wifi)

The mins and texts are defi more with O2 OR VODAFONE.
Also have a look at the cost of calling its 20p /min from Tesco mobile.
Alsi if you buy PAYASUGO iphone you get unlimited Wifi and Internet so you can choose a different bolt on like free land line calls on your O2 sim and swap sims if reqd. Thats useful as well.

Seems to me a good deal to get iphone

If you need an ipohone this seems to be a cheapish way of doing it, assuming you can't get a decent sim only package with titnernet, and buy the iphone on PAYG as stated above

Loads of rumours, nothing confirmed. No pre-release SDK has been made availlable to developers on the IDP yet either.
