i went for this because i specifically wanted 16gb, the 8gb one is only £13.99 at play.com, which is less than half the price, but this is useful if, like me, you want to carry 16gb on one flash drive

These sticks are really good, dont vote on the product but on the price. Warm from me as its £28 at scan.co.uk on today only(direct links show original price) at the bottom, similar price without offer.
Free delivery if you have an account on avforums or hexus so wont vote cold as some dont have free delivery.

Sorry, I've had one of these for about 6 months and it's like a slug through treacle. The 8GB I had before was miles faster. It's reliable and sturdy, but fast it is not.

Get the red one if you want speed. Not voting either way as it's an acceptable product but there are much faster ones out there if speed is an issue.

Megamart.

I'll agree with that, i've got the GT version it reads fast; but it takes forever to write 16GB.......

Good price though, half what I paid 6 months ago.

I would rather buy a 1TB western digital external hard drive for 58 quid than this...

There is not much difference between the 8 gig gt versions read and write rate, read on my asus board at 32-34meg a sec and writes at 28-29meg a sec. I would have guessed the 16gb would also be pretty close with a difference of an extra 2-4 mb a sec off write. Therefore the 32gig gt version shoudl also drop a little.

The non gt version is quite a bit slower but not the worst pen on the market by a long way and I think corsair products still have lifetime warranty. (that may have changed on flash)

Durable but when they break and they often do, sooner or later, their customer services say they will replace it but you have to post it to the states and for the recorded postage, you might as well buy a new one!
