Don't HUKD interject affiliate links on all deals? That's how they make their money.

Yeah they do

Read and write speeds are poor 10 and 5mb/s, it would take 50minutes to fill with data!!

Voted cold

http://www.techypunky.com/2009/02/18/16gb-lexar-jumpdrive-firefly/

in our tests, using the Ruby 16GB version, we could write large files at 8MB/s[ and read at 25MB/s. For 100MB of small files, results were less impressive - 0.5MB/s when writing our small files to disk, and 1.4MB/s read.

I have had problems with some HUKD posts that I've made going to the affiliate page. Not sure how or why it happens when I've copied and pasted the correct link. I have had it fixed by contacting admin/mods.
Hot by the way:thumbsup:

Apparently it was Edi who contacted Lexar direct and was quoted 10mb/s read and 5mb/s write, when flash memory sticks were small (1 or 2gb) speed was not that important but a 16gb stick really needs to be able to write at least 15mb/s in my opinion
