This is so typical - people jump in to criticise the deal without thinking. One compares it to a full size SD card and the other to a much slower card.

The person posting this is doing it out of the kindness of their heart - sharing with others so that they too might benefit from a great value product - so why be so keen to knock them down?

How do you know the other two weren't posting for the benefit of others?

Give them the benefit of the doubt at least.

Granted they should read the descriptions a bit more carefully, but I am sure they will next time.

Not sure what is so exciting about this deal.

Who is the manufacturer of these cards?

Whats the point in speed if they are unreliable (theoreticly)??

I am tempted to go for one of these, but being unbranded can be very risky.

I don't care what your intention was, read and think before you criticize. Just seems like basic manners to me.

i never criticized??????

never at one point. do buy a dictionary and re-read the term

Offering what you suggested was an equivalent product at a cheaper price constitutes a criticism of the original deal. I wasnt saying that you made a personal attack on the OP, I suggested that you criticized the deal without knowing what you were talking about. That annoys me because it happens all the time on this site, and in fact twice in this deal.

Criticism would be "this is a crap deal, here is a better one". Merely saying "here is a better deal" could be an attempt to **** off the deal or it could just be an attempt to help save even more money. Going off on a rant with no evidence of the intention is a bit lame.

Ok, my wife tells me I came across a little harsh - so, sorry if I upset anyone. I think there are some total t**ts on this site that love to vote cold, **** off OPs and generally knock other people down, but that probably wasn't the case this time.
#20
Hawt, thanks! The play.com one is slightly cheaper, however seeing what other people are saying about it, I'd rather go for the smaller guy :-)

Not much in the way of 32gb class 10 cards - I had a massive search before and could only come up with this one (just in case you are interested) - quite a big jump up though in cost: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lexar-32GB-Micro-Speed-Reader/dp/B004BR2ZTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304257880&sr=8-1

Thanks OP :) voted hot.

this is an ebay outlet of a webshop not a private trader
the fact its ebay doesn't mean it will be a dud
the fact you chose bad sellers meant you got a dud

I'm going to chance this one. Thanks to OP.

Mine arrived, not too bad delivered times considering I ordered it over the bank holiday weekend. Here is a very basic benchmark, looks good to me!

http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg620/scaled.php?tn=0&server=620&filename=qmhe.png&xsize=640&ysize=640

Edit: Should also note that the listing price for these is now £21.95 inc. delivery, not so good a deal compared to the play.com ones (if you are going to risk it), but for next I think we can fairly say this company has good stock that lives up to what they are advertising.

Um, these class 10 pny cards are slow if you need the speed to run an OS or application. The random write speeds are about 0.367 MB/SEC using a benchmark utility. Better cards have about 1.2 MB/SEC or higher. The sequential reads are close to what you say. I was going to one for a tablet to run Honeycomb from a card, but you need a fater card,

That being said the card is good for images and data storage.

I beg to differ..:

These are the ratings of all 'currently available cards':
Class 2, 2 MB/s
Class 4, 4 MB/s
Class 6, 6 MB/s
Class 10, 10 MB/s
hence there is a direct correlation.
