Why the cold votes? I'm looking to buy a cheap 16GB drive. You can get these somewhere cheaper? I don't care about speed.

Yeah I'm confused about that too!

Slower than the Cruzer that everyone was panning on here - and that was cheaper than this !

Would this be any good for bumping up the storage in my 4gb xbox?

The 32gig was posted earlier at £20

I believe so, think it just needs configuring - see here http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2777

Though don't know if someone else can confirm this?

Where is the Cruzer that you can buy cheaper than this? There was a 16gb usb stick posted from play on here yesterday that was a pound more and half the speed, and that got hot.

Like the guy above said, it will work with your 360 after you've configured it (it does it for you), but you'll get a message every time you use it. I can't remember exactly what the message says, but it'll basically tell you it's slow and it recommends using a faster one.

Thanks for that. Might be worth holing out for a faster one then - feedback on this one doesn't sound that great :(

i sent mine back , took 15mins to upload 1 gig file and it was hit and miss whether the files would play

I bought one of these last time they where on offer, been pretty reliable so far. Just did a test using Check Flash no errors found and the speeds came up as read 16.40 MB/s and write as 4.77 MB/s so pretty much as described on the 7 day shop site.

is it me or does the spec look really slow. anyone with this care to comment. how long will 16gig take to fill up?

I would probably pay 5 pounds more and get one that's a little faster.

Well I ordered one. Don't need the 32GB version so no point in spending an extra £8 for something I wont use. Speeds are slow but it's only going to be used to backup files/photos and watch the occasional TV show from etc. Sure it would take ages to fill the entire drive in one go but realistically when would you ever be doing this? Maybe very occasionally if you don't an external HDD? Read speeds are more than adequate for watching movies and videos etc. It's £12 for a 16GB stick so I'm not complaining.

I bought one of these recently to test and the data doesn't stay on it. You transfer the stuff, safely eject it and when plugged into another PC it's vanished. RUBBISH!

Went for one of these before christmas, based on th good reviews on this site - can't seem to find the thread now, but said it was faster than the sandisks play.com models and was about a quid cheaper at the time. Had i read this thread, i would have just gone for sandisk - the £1 was not an issue - i just wanted fast transfer speed. Anyway, just got round to using it this week. I only get 2.5ish write speed and it doesn't work at all on my old dell windows xp desktop. Junk really, always bought sandisk in the past and it's always been excellent. Guess it serves me right for not being loyal to a good company. Wrote a review on 7day shop by the way and not been used - maybe they're selective with what they allow? Strange there are no reviews at all for a keep priced product that's been about for months on there.
