I'm after a laptop and come across this one. The 20% code for Vostro's is working again. Seems a good deal to me. Can anyone with some computer savvy confirm if it is any good?

Pretty cheap and entry level. Celeron are older and slow, not as power efficient either. Smallish hard drive to modern standards, no webcam... depends what you are looking for.

Slow CPU
Don't Bother with 64 bit version of windows as there are compatability issues and the laptop is only running 2gb RAM so you won't gain anything.
No Webcam
Small Hard Drive
I bought a Dell 1720 inspiron just before Christmas with 320GB Hard Drive, Integrated webcam, Intel Pentium dual core CPU from Carphone warehouse for only £329.99.

I would wait and keep looking

I think this deal is good for a laptop @ £300 as it includes Windows7.
If you want cheaper go for the Vostro 1520 which is £276.36 after applying the coupon. EXPIRES FRIDAY

they must of been end of stock as i got it through this link http://www.dmxdimension.com/ only ordered 2 days ago and dell have emailed due to be delivered on feb 2nd
